Vlissingen has several wonderful beaches. The most popular two, "Het Badstrand" and "Het Nollestrand", are both situated on the sunny south side.
"Het Badstrand" in front of the Boulevard Evertsen and "Het Nollestrand" just behind the Nolledijk. On the "Nollestrand" you can find a beautiful beach club "De Panta Rhei" with a wonderful terrace and an excellent view on the ships passing by. You will never forget the view of the sunset seen from the "Panta Rhei" terrace.
On this beach you can rent windscreens, parasols, chairs and small beach houses.
The beaches are guarded by life-guards from half May till half September from 10 am till 6 pm.
Always keep an eye on the signal-flags because the sea can be dangerous.
During the summer season, dogs are not allowed and kites and kite-surfing are forbidden.
